Wow what an absolute treat for Mini Stylista readers!!!! AN Exclusive: never before seen shots of AJ’s bedroom as featured in the gorgeous LittleONE Baby Magazine. We asked Amy the lovely editor from the magazine to share some information about the feature and AJ’s bedroom:
“AJ’s room from Issue 1 of LittleONE Baby was a MASSIVE hit with our readers. Most wanted to know where he got the fabulous wall unit with the cane baskets holding all of his things. Unfortunately for most of you, AJ lives in the north western tip of Victoria, and the piece in question was from a store in the local area. We found a similar one at Homemakers (www.homemakersaustralia.com.au <http://www.homemakersaustralia.com.au> ) and if you wanted to get creative you could buy a regular unit, turn it on its side and use baskets the correct size to fill. Places like Ikea and even Officeworks have all you need to get a similar look.
AJ’s big brothers also had an amazing room (which we didn’t photograph) and all three boys shared a fantastic playroom. AJ’s mum said it was the perfect place to put all their toys, let them hang out and watch TV or basically mess up a space without messing up their rooms! We loved the way the deep couch is built into the wall with the shelves…comfy, super practical and great looking.”

What a gorgeous bedroom! Practical and stylish, and quite obviously designed and styled with little one’s in mind. A wonderful place to sleep and play … I love the practical ideas used in the basket dresser and play desk with map and great storage underneath. The basket dresser’s were great when available, I have one for my boys with white wicker baskets & blue gingham inserts, and a smaller one for my daughter with white baskets & pink gingham inserts. Great for little clothes when they are babies, and wonderful to store all sorts of toys as they grow. Thanks everyone for sharing, so enjoyed seeing AJ’s room!
