For ‘Fashionista Friday’ I wanted to share some snapshots from Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival RSFF 2010. These photos were taken by the Vogue Nationale team. My husband Todd Arndt (from Vogue Nationale) also directed hair at 3 shows: Ella Bache Splash, The Bonds Show (with Sarah Murdoch) and Review Show #9.

Last night I attended Review Show 5 at Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival.On the catwalk we got to see a review of what was presented at Fashion Week in May. It truly was so exciting to see some of my favourite designers collections on the runway: Karla Spetic, Magdalena Velevska and Sara Phillips I was like a little groupie snapping my camera at every moment….What an amazing night!!!! Colour is in in a BIG way and this was evident last night on the runway at Mercedes-Benz Brisbane Fashion Festival. Last night I was invited to attend the Mercedes-Benz Group Show 1. On the runway we saw a selection of Lisa Ho’s spring summer collection as well as designers such as Camilla, See by Chloe, Alex Perry, Catherine Malandrino and Megan Park from local boutqiues: Nancy King, Richards & Richards, Samantha Ogilvie, Carmague and Toscani.

I would love to present an amazing Australian designer Yeojin Bae! Here is a dress from the Sunset Strip 2007 Resort collection. I once ran into this gorgeous designer in David Jones whilst I was buying champayne truffles!!! I was absolutely star struck this women is so talented!

Breathtaking’ is the only word to describe the new Sophie Kyron Jewellery collection. This amazing Perth based, Western Australia designer has been making jewellery for over 20 years and has a loyal celebrity following including Toni Collette, Cate Blanchett and Miranda Kerr. Midnight at the Oasis is the name of 2010/2011 summer collection by Sophie Kyron and this collection is everything summer should be!. Splashes of long awaited colour!!!!

Karen Walker the amazing New Zealand designer who has a huge celebrity following! Björk, Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung, Cate Blanchett, Liv Tyler, Kate Hudson, Claudia Schiffer, Drew Barrymore and Madonna are all fans and so am I!! Braiding is set to be another hair trend seen on the runway at RAFW with Todd Arndt, Redken Hair Director creating a stunning braided up style for the Magdalena Velevska show. “This look has a very understated 50’s inspired sexiness to it. Even though it’s an up style, the look is still quite relaxed because the plait isn’t secured too tightly and the soft quiff gently falls over the forehead. This gives it a beautiful graceful and modern feel without looking too overdone,” says Todd
