My Business Partner Liss and Vienna from Sanoii & Six introduced me to Instagram and it is my new current obsession! It truly is the best -it is so addictive mainly because there is finally  a way to take those photos all bloggers long to achieve (vintage feeling-soft focus-beautiful light) and also because the Instagram community is so supportive. I love posting a photo and there are always so many nice supportive comments! Now Iam by no means an excellent photographer but the lenses/filers really make photos look amazing- just so addicted!

PS -I will be uploading a weekly selection of Instagram pics- especially since it is so easy, creative and a GREAT way to get me back into regular blog posting (my New Years Resolution is to find more time to do the thing I love -which is BLOG!)

Liss (my business partner and creator of the amazing blog DAYDREAM LILY and I have known each other now for 3 years! Funny enough we met via Twitter- just when it was becoming very popular here in Australia- I loved her blog back then and asked her a few questions as I was starting up my own blog and we just clicked!

She is so inspirational and also so lovely and really balances me out- we have similar style and therefore decided to set up Style Milk Shop in March. My longlife dream was always to work in fashion and have a shop- I could never have had the confidence to do it without her! Liss really is supportive and encouraging and I can say she helped me achieve my dream!

I was so excited that we finally have a picture taken of the two of us!!! We thought it was about time we did a Style Milk Shoot! Featuring May the Label and Arabella Ramsay (we also shot a few more pieces keep an eye out on our Facebook page for more shots)

I LOVED the beautiful big pastel polkadots in Gorman’s last Spring collection- the spotty theme has also featured prominently in this collection with splashes of vibrant colour here and there! I love the safari type theme with the gorgeous straw hats and animal prints. Spotty, dotty and oh so fresh!

LOVING the new Arabella Ramsay Sunnylands collection!

As with many collections this summer we see lots of Crotchet and Chambrey!

One word: QUIRKY perfectly describes it! My favourite piece without a doubt: Petal Sundress!!!! Nothing like a lovely Peter Pan Collar! The printed leggings were a huge hit last season and no doubt the Mika Tropical dress will be very popular! Such a beautiful print so summer! The gorgeous splashes of Yellow for the Sunnylands theme is also so fresh! Ahhh Summer!

We were so lucky to be invited to Bec & Bridge at this years Rosemount Australian Fashion Week and very pleased to write that the Violet Haze collection will be available this summer at Style Milk Shop. Here are some looks straight from off the runway via the Bec & Bridge Blog.

As described by Bec & Bridge: “The Violet Haze collection draws on the late ’70s in New York and its ultimate muse, Lauren Hutton. There’s a relaxed sexiness to the pieces, with the majority of dresses and skirts adhering to longer lines and looser fits.

The two feature prints in the collection are Chrysler—inspired by the New York landmarks and Dahlia, an abstract floral in an abundance of colours”. I also really LOVE the AKUBRA for Bec & Bridge hats….ooooh bring back the 70s!!!!
