We were so lucky to be invited to Bec & Bridge at this years Rosemount Australian Fashion Week and very pleased to write that the Violet Haze collection will be available this summer at Style Milk Shop. Here are some looks straight from off the runway via the Bec & Bridge Blog.
As described by Bec & Bridge: “The Violet Haze collection draws on the late ’70s in New York and its ultimate muse, Lauren Hutton. There’s a relaxed sexiness to the pieces, with the majority of dresses and skirts adhering to longer lines and looser fits.
The two feature prints in the collection are Chrysler—inspired by the New York landmarks and Dahlia, an abstract floral in an abundance of colours”. I also really LOVE the AKUBRA for Bec & Bridge hats….ooooh bring back the 70s!!!!

Whilst looking for inspiration for a shoots I am styling…I look through magazines, check Antique and op shops and even see what people are wearing on the street. I also always love to have a look at Grace Coddington’s work. Without doubt this amazing stylist and Fashion Editor for Vogue is an absolute legend…a genius! I love this shot so much! (Not sure what issue of US VOGUE this is from or who the Photographer) but absolutely love the red hair of course very GRACE! How funny is the cat too!
