I love Little One Baby Magazine it really is a beautiful magazine. I have had the great pleasure to write for the magazine in their Annual Design issue and now my son’s style and nursery are featured in the November issue (Issue 5 page 24-29). Also in the feature is the story behind my pregnancy. I am a Diabetic and there were many complications along the way. Before Rocco I had a dreadfully painful Miscarriage so I hope my story helps someone else.

I was lucky to be invited to Guest post on Li’l Magoolie whilst Maddie moved house and I thought it would be nice to feature gorgeous decor I would LOVE to give her as a house warming present here is the post (I am obsessed with those head band/warmers from buisjes en beugels as pictured above)

I must apologise for the lack of posts…over the past few days I have been busy styling a huge fashion shoot for Peekaboo Kids Magazine. I have basically focused all efforts on styling the shoot and being a VIRGO it takes me longer to do anything as I am a perfectionist and am never happy with anything I do! I also had 500 ideas swirling around in my head but finally after a cup of Earl Grey and organising magazine cutouts onto a inspiration board there was light at the end of the tunnel…the shoot went well (thanks to the gorgeous photographer and models) and the Editor is happy with my work!

Whilst working on the shoot I received an email saying that my ‘little old blog’ Style MILK was awarded top blog for ‘Mom and Kids Style’ by New York online magazine Babble. It really is so special to have received this award and to be nominated alongside some of my blogging friends was a treat too!

I really must take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported Style MILK…readers who leave comments, chat with me on Facebook, fellow bloggers and everyone who sends me emails! I still find it amazing that people love what I write…thank you everyone x

A few weeks ago I shared the inspiration behind a photo shoot I was working on for  La Petite Magazine! Finally I can share the actual shoot I styled! I have been waiting so long to be able to share the STYLE MILK Hair shoot because I am over the moon with the final shots!

My inspiration for the shoot was one of the Miss Dior adverts (the one where the model is holding pastel balloons) as well as dreamy photography!

Rowe Timson photographed the shoot! How talented is this lady!

For the shoot we used Little Choopie accessories, Olive’s Friend Pop clothing from Kawaii Kids and gorgeous tanks and skirts from Momie et Enfant/ Luv Child

It was also wonderful to work with my husband (who styled the hair). If you love online magazines…then you must check out La Petite Magazine! A stunning read!

I really enjoy collaborating with other creatives! So when photographer Rowe Timson emailed me to see if I would like to help Style a shoot for Maeve Magazine I jumped at the chance! I love researching fashion collections and trends and coordinating it all together to create a look for a shoot.

For the POP shoot we were given the brief to make it colourful and fun! We chose pieces from Polka’s current collection as it really is such a bright gorgeous one ( I will share Polka’s Lookbook this week on Style MILK) as well as some great t’shirts from My Rocking Wardrobe, Boots from Little Elk and the cutest Mini Rodini dresses!

It is actually harder than it looks to style a shoot…you have to organise clothing to be sent from designers and boutiques and then work with the models on the day to keep the energy up and mood of the shoot going! But when you have a great photographer like Rowe, fantastic models and great toys (Thanks to my son Rocco for letting us use all his toys… his cool wooden Wishbone bike and Mo Willem’s books!) it makes the shoot!!!!

I just love Rowe’s Photography it really is so clean and I really feel she captured everything we asked for in the brief!
