I am not only obsessed with fashion and ‘real style’!!! I know you may all be sitting there gasping in shock…but it is true I am also in love with food. Our favourite family outing is to wake up at 5:30 am (yes we are ‘dedicated foodies’) and go to the Farmers Markets! I can watch the food channel all day and if I could organise it I would dearly come back as Nigella Lawson in my next life! Every Sunday (unless we are eating breakfast at our local favourite Annok) we enjoy warm almond croissants and delicious brioche from Chouquette in New Farm (Brisbane). If you visit Brisbane then you must stop by this quaint Patisserie….

Oh… Food is my friend too…at 38 weeks pregnant with 7 pound twins, I found myself trying to ‘squeeze’ through the crowds at the farmers market one morning, determined to satisfy my craving for german sausages, I gave up and went to Chouquette instead and found their amazing chocolate eclairs… I ate three – one for me and one each for my twins!! I couldn’t decide whether the girl behind the counter was amazed or appalled. Have a lovely morning.
Ha Well done!!!! You were so brave to go to the markets! I have troubles now taking my son in a pram and getting through the crowds. Good job at Chouquette! I want crazy with my order today: Apple danish, almond croissant, Brioche, 2 quiche and 10 chouquettes (and that was just for breakfast but sharing with my son and husband mind you!). I just can’t help myself my eyes are certainly bigger than my ‘stomach’
