I am so proud to present Mee a Bee Bags for this weeks Take 5 Tuesday! Created by Jacqui Miyabayashi, a New Zealand mother living in Japan. She started sewing little bags for her two gorgeous boys to carry to school such a lunch/sports bags. She found that she loved making them so much that she created Mee a Bee -a line of messenger style bags for kids ages 3-7 years. They are now so popular that they are stocked all around the world.
I love how these bags are HANDMADE with the CUTEST little prints and designs!!! The cotton used is Oeko-Tex certified and Japanese linen which is made from hemp which is one of the world’s premier renewable resources. SO not only are the bags super cute but very eco and child friendly!
I am so looking forward to buying a bag for my son! Everytime I look at the prints on the bags I seriously gush!! I also love how bright and colourful-the handles are the colours really bring out the designs in the fabric…I actually think I might buy a bag for myself whilst waiting for my son to turn 3!!!
So please enjoy the pictures featuring 5 gorgeous Mee A Bee bags stocked at Shak-Shuka -an amazing Eco boutique from the Netherlands! Watch out for a post on Shak-Shuka very soon!!!

Meeabee ROCKS!!!!!
I LOVE Mee a Bee too!!! I can’t wait to buy some bags x
Jen, MeeaBee bags are the best! Poppy takes hers everywhere with her and I love the fact that they are handmade using the most divine fabrics. I got up this morning and told Poppy that I was going to buy one for her friend’s birthday before I even read your post. I am now heading over to pick a design.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MeeaBee!
I loved seeing pics of Poppy on your blog with them…I think they look so cute on kids!
these are beautiful thanks for sharing these with us
Aren’t they lovely!!! I even think they are great bags for us adults too!
Thank you so much for the beautiful feature! The bags you have chosen are fabulous, all favourites of mine. Especially “Poppy’s bag” which is the ballet one that Shak-Shuka loves so much. Thanks everyone for the lovely comments.
We are big Mee a Bee fans at our house. Sayer loves his robot bag!
We are also big fans – my daughter has two, a creche bag and a messenger bag. And they make great gifts. Friends love them!
