I HEART online shopping! I would have to say I am obsessed with it!!! Online ‘window shopping’ is so much fun! When you do order something…the anticipation of it arriving on your doorstep…is the best. It really is just like Christmas when you open your packages! Having an online blog does not help my bank account as I am always shopping!
I have often wondered what an online store would look like in real life. We often see only a website and pictures of stock but I am sure we all wonder what an online store looks like! For the My Space post today I am excited to present the space behind an new online children’s store Hugo and Oli. It really is a sleek looking space just like the website!
Inspired by her two gorgeous boys Hugo and Oli- mother Maria Ivanovski wanted to express her boys’ uniqueness and style in trendy fashion, so she created the beautiful online store. Maria has kindly shared photos of her two little Stylistas in their store we asked her to tell us a little bit more about the store:
“Hugo and Oli draws on the lives of my two amazing boys (Hugo is five and Orlando (Oli) is two). From their birth I had always wanted my boys to have flair, impression and comfort to explore and conquer their surroundings together each day. This meant finding, (as challenging as it was) children’s boutiques in Sydney which offer stylish clothing, footwear, accessories and even homewares to decorate their rooms in matching sets. When purchasing online I was always looking for an enjoyable, easy and hassle-free experience (and confirmation that my order is on its way and will actually arrive!). After some time searching I decided to open my own children’s boutique online, and offer all those things I wanted as an online shopper myself – variety of clothing, accessories and homewares on a simple website; and an easy, hassle free, fast shopping experience so I can spend more time doing what I love.
Since opening Hugo and Oli in 2009 we have expanded from selling children’s clothing from mainly local designers to international designers, new accessories for girls and boys and beautiful homewares. My two gorgeous young models have really embraced being the centre of attention by being involved in product selection and sales, and experienced so much fun in dressing up in their favourite clothes during the photo shoots for the website and advertisements. Hugo loves playing the ‘Stylist’ role while Oli is my little Storeperson.”
