The post was actually published on Monday, however we recently moved servers and it had to be republished…..so please enjoy the first Monday ‘My Space’ feature is absolutely divine:
Nancy Alice is the lovely designer/creator behind Wolf and Willow:beautiful vintage inspired children’s clothing, toys, bedding and accessories. For someone to be so creative I felt she really must have an amazing work space…infact it is simply awe inspiring!
I asked Nancy to share the inspiration behind the interior styling and design of her ‘Space’:
“Here’s a few little things about my workshop…
* Although you might assume the workshop is decorated in pretty pink, it’s really mostly black and white with lots of sunshine streaming in – I can see our pretty iceberg roses through the window.
* The main feature is the desk – Mr. Wolf and I discovered an antique English Tudor writing desk in need of some TLC, so we restored it, lined the drawers with Catherine Martin wallpaper samples, and painted some tall bookshelves to match. I have dozens of vintage golden books, sewing patterns and craft books spilling out of them now, as well as baskets full of sewing supplies and notions.
* Being a graphic designer by day (of boutique wedding stationery, no less!) and blogger by night, I couldn’t live without my Wacom tablet and MAC… which are also black.
* My other love is my Louis XIV reading chair, which was a wedding present from my mum! It’s upholstered with butterflies and dragonflies and embroidered with writing from Shakespeare. It’s almost too precious to sit on, but I let my dog up there sometimes… shhh!
* The workshop actually doubles as a guest bedroom, so theres a rather shabby chic-esque white cast iron single bed squeezed in as well!”
Thank you Nancy for sharing your amazing space with us!!!! I absolutely adore the space ….I would love to hear from readers….what do you love about the workspace….any favourite pieces/decor?

Beautiful workspace Jen! I love Wolf and Willow designs and Nancy is just so lovely. My favourite piece is actually the little round side-table sitting next to the gorgeous reading chair.
I would have to agree with you…I love the combination of the reading chair and the table…x
Very inspiring and looks like such a calm workspace Nancy, my fav piece of furniture is the Louis chair I have a similar Louis in green velvet, sadly mine is not as loved as the one in the picture but I love it!
Christina from Billy Mac Clothing does a great I Love Louis t-shirt for children – adults, looks fab with jeans. Today im working on my work space thanks for the push to be creative x
Ohhh would love to see your chair too Sarah! I know what you mean everytime I see a gorgeous space in Inside Out or other magazines I want to set up a beautiful office. However I have a 2 bedroom cottage so have no space!!! Hopefully one day soon!
Why, thanks for all the lovely comments, everyone! The little side table is from Chapel Street Bazaar, one of my favourite vintage markets, in Melbourne. I spotted it amongst a bunch of other gems in a “shabby chic boudoir” window display and just had to take it home!
