Are you ready? Well here it is an absolutely D I V I N E nursery all the way from the US. Jesseca Bellemare the Designer/Owner of The Modern Baby Co shares her daughter’s nursery with Style MILK:
I am Jesseca Bellemare, mother to two boys and soon to be one girl, wife and owner of The Modern Baby Co.. We currently live in Asheville, North Carolina and keep very busy with two rambunctious boys, two entrepreneurial businesses, play dates, sports lessons and the occasional alone time for my husband and I.
Whose nursery is it? The nursery is for Osianna, our first girl, third child due July 29, 2010. She was a big and very welcome surprise for us. We wanted to create a very unique and special space for our little girl.
Your inspiration behind the decoration of the lovely nursery: As the mother of two young boys, I was first and foremost deeply inspired by the simple and exciting fact we are having a baby girl. Our love for modern, clean, minimal and sophisticated design along with pretty and unique color schemes and natural elements also inspired our decor choices.
Can you name/identify some of the toys/ homewares…where did you get them from? Animal Prints and birch Butterfly Mobile: The Modern Baby Co. (http://themodernbabyco.com). Crib, dresser, shelves and hanging paper lantern: IKEA. Rocking chair: Baxton Studio. Bedding, pillows, softies and paper butterfly mobile: made by Jesseca. Canvas art: Painted by big brothers. Wooden toys and books: flea market, thrift stores and friends.
