I was very lucky to be invited to the launch of the Topshop in Brisbane! I recently purchased the beautiful Lover the Label Valentine skirt so thought it would be the perfect occasion to wear with my Lilya Sorrel Top from Style Milk Shop, Sass & Bide Cape and my new Valentino Rockstuds! It was an extremely impressive launch with gorgeous company, delicious bubbles and canapés and racks of yummy clothes!
Yes you all know how much I LOVE Lover the Label- how I am truly obsessed and have been for a good 7 years! During my week at Fashion Week I wore a great deal of Lover and posted pics on Instagram- funny enough many of the pieces I wore I have owned for years and years. They really are investment pieces- such stunning classic pieces of work that never date. I talk about my collection as if it is like collecting art- because it really is….they are timeless pieces of art! Not only look amazing but they surpass all fast trends and always look good at any special occasion that I need to attend. So please enjoy some of the pieces I have worn lately…Lover in my opinion will always be one of (if not THE) Finest Australian designers around!
If you have been following Style MILK for the past 4 months you will know that my absolute favourite Australian Fashion designer is LOVER THE LABEL! This years spring summer collection is exceptional as always…
I Love: the sweet pastels, soft silk pieces…blouses that drape softly and as always LOVE the lace pieces. Lover Swimwear is renown for the 50’s style briefs and gorgeous one pieces…this season you will find all these styles and so many more!
Just can’t stop loving Lover!
Finally a reason to justify all those purchases: My Style MONDAY posts! I am really enjoying sharing my style. I love fashion so very much I honestly feel as if I collect fashion ‘pieces’ like art! So this series is almost like sharing my collection…my art collection! Last week I shared my Lover The Label Cape and this week I couldn’t resist sharing another Lover item- My Patty Dress. I am sure this dress is from the Black Rose Army Collection. For some reason I actually feel as if I am wearing ‘Paris’ it has a parisian type of style about it…maybe it is the stripes. I love the tan detail buttons!
I am also sharing my Chloe Platforms I bought from Net-A-Porter!!! They are extremely high but look amazing and go so well with the Patty Dress! I recently wore the Chloe shoes for a Peekaboo Magazine shoot in which my family was featured! Reflecting back on the shoot it is quite funny how I wore such high heels being photographed with my son! They are definitely not my usual ‘Mummy’ shoes that I wear everyday…more for special occasions! Like most women I L O V E shoes….I would love to know about any amazing shoe purchases/collections people have…so please leave a comment below if you would like to share!!! Until next week x
